WR-155 and WR-LPU

WR-155 is a water reducible 2-part epoxy primer. WR-LPU is a water reducible 2-part linear polyurethane topcoat. These are the perfect paints to use over an epoxy or polyester coating.

WR-155 is a high-build, anti-corrosive, easily sandable primer base for WR-LPU. For use on epoxy or polyester resin, wood, aluminum, or steel. It is available in 2 shades, off-white or a light gray. It can be re-coated within 2 hours when sprayed, 4 to 6 hours when brushed. It covers about 250 square feet per gallon per coat. We recommend 2 to 3 coats for a high-build base. WR-155 is available in quart or gallon sizes.

WR-LPU is a time tested two part water reducible polyurethane topcoat. It rivals solvent-based paints in durability and weatherability. It contains ultraviolet light absorbers for maximum life in the sun. One gallon will cover between 350 and 400 square feet when brushed or rolled per coat. Allow for some overspray when spraying. It is available in twelve standard colors. We will custom tint WR-LPU to any color for an extra charge.

System Three coatings are designed to work together as a complete system. Apply the primer first to get a good coating build. After cured (test by rubbing your finger wet down with water over the surface- if no color comes off on your finger, the surface is cured, and ready to coat) prepare the primed surface by sanding and apply the topcoat. The topcoat will dry to a semi-gloss. For a full gloss"wet look" apply a coat of WR-LPU clear as the final coat.

WR-LPU Topcoat is available in Clear, White, or Pigmented in quart or gallon sizes. Kits include crosslinker.

Extra crosslinker for WR-LPU is available in 1- and 2 ounce size.

Nonskid Powder

A white gritty polycarbonate. Sprinkle onto wet WR-LPU to produce a nonskid surface. 1 quart will cover about 200 square feet.

System Three Spar Urethane Varnish

A highsolids marine varnish for high quality results. Contains ultraviolet light absorbers for longer life in the sun. Formulated this for complete compatibility with System Three epoxies so that you won't have any surprises during application.

Spar Urethane Varnish available in 1-quart and 1 gallon cans.

Epoxy Paste Pigments

Colors: White (titanium dioxide), yellow (hansa), red (quinacridone), blue (phthalocyanine), green (phthalocyanine), brown(iron oxide) and black (carbon).

These epoxy dispersed pigment pastes will not plasticize cured epoxy as do universal or other non-epoxy dispersed pigments. Blend pigments to produce many different hues. You may add these pigments to System Three basic epoxy resins or the WR-155 Activator to produce a pastel-tinted water-reducable primer. One jar of pigment will tint a gallon of finished product.
